Tuesday June 11 - Pitching/Throwing CAMP 10am-noon.
Wednesday June 12 - All Skills CAMP 10am-12:30pm
Location: Jenks Field #8; Alternate location if needed - indoors at Perfect Practice (location to be determined day of camp; wetness/heat)
Monday June 10, 2024; HITTING CAMP
HITTING only camp
Ages 5 and up...
This camp with focus on all aspects of hitting. Topics will be stance, load, 3 "h's" of hitting, tee drills, numerous other drills and much more.
This camp will also feature some "live" hitting. Camp will have a 15-minute break.

Tuesday June 11, 2024; Throwing/Pitching CAMP
Ages 5 and up...
This camp is designed to assist all players with proper fundamentals of PITCHING and THROWING to include proper grip, stance, finish, and much more. We will also talk the mentality of PITCHING as it pertains to the success of the game. Without proper structure, PITCHING is very difficult. This camp will also go over proper structure of throwing; and all skills necessary to increase success; especially for those who do not want to pitch but need help throwing the ball. Camp will have a 15-minute break.

Wednesday June 12, 2024; All Skills CAMP
ALL SKILLS camp; the camp most needed for all players!
Ages 5 and up...
This camp is designed to focus on all aspects of the game excluding hitting. Such topics as proper throwing techniques, infield and outfield drills, base running, sliding and much more will be included. It's a great camp to learn the details that are not covered a lot during the year.
This final summer camp will conclude with a fun baseball game during last hour. Camp will have a 20-minute break; NO LUNCH BREAK; Just normal break.

Please pay for camps via Venmo (@Mike-Ponio) or by Cash App ($MikePonio) to secure your spot. Camps will be limited in numbers. You are welcome to pay the day of camp as well via cash/check.
A few days prior to camps, another email will be sent as a reminder in addition to communicate about what to wear and any other pertinent information such as location of camp (camps may shift indoors if wet weather or heat).
Parents are welcome to stay and participate as well.

Mike Ponio played collegiate baseball at The University of Hawaii, Palomar JC in San Diego, and the University of Oklahoma. Mike had opportunities to play professional baseball with the Cincinnati Reds and Oakland Athletics. Mike has been conducting camps for JYB for many years as well as private lessons for 25+ years. He also works with teams, assisting with pitching mechanics and fundamentals.
