JYB 2026 Baseball Camps
All February camps will be held INDOORS at Perfect Practice, 4950 S. Sheridan in Tulsa.
TO REGISTER FOR CAMPS: Send an email to Mike Ponio, JYB Camp Director, at boomersooner1023@yahoo.com or call/text him at 918-770-3659 with any questions. Please specify Camp #'s when registering. For example, I would like to register PLAYER NAME in camps #1 and #4.
Payment is due at the time of registration or when your player is confirmed and can be made via Venmo (@Mike-Ponio) or by Cash App ($MikePonio) to secure your spot.
*Camp fees are non-refundable.
A few days prior to each camp, an email reminder will be sent to communicate what to wear and any other pertinent information.
Parents are ALWAYS welcome to stay and participate as well!

Camp #1: ALL SKILLS CAMP Camp #2: ALL SKILLS CAMP

NOTE: Players are welcome to attend either or both of these camps!
This will be the 13th year JYB has hosted this awesome Baseball Camp for the little players. This ALL SKILLS CAMP will cover the basics of throwing, hitting and fielding. Mike Ponio and others will instruct the players that will attend.

Camp #3: PITCHING/THROWING CAMP
When: Sunday, Feb 22nd
Time: 11-1pm
Ages: 6 and up
Cost: $40
This camp is designed to assist all players with the proper fundamentals of PITCHING and THROWING to include proper grip, stance, finish, and much more. We will also talk about the mentality of PITCHING as it pertains to the success of the game. Without proper structure, PITCHING is very difficult. We will also go over proper structure of THROWING and all skills necessary to increase success, especially for those who do not want to pitch but need help throwing the ball. This camp will also work for those players who are young and do not pitch yet, teaching proper throwing technique. A player does NOT have to be of pitching age to attend this camp.

Camp #4: HITTING Camp
When: Sunday, Feb 22nd, 2026
Time: 1-3pm
Ages: 6-UP
Cost: $40
This camp is designed to assist all players with proper fundamentals of HITTING.

Mike Ponio, JYB Camp Director, will spearhead all camps. Mike played collegiate baseball at The University of Hawaii and OU (Big 8 days). Mike has run his own baseball club and conducts private baseball lessons in addition to directing many camps per year.
