JYB 2026 Baseball Camps
Spring Break camps will be held indoors at Perfect Practice, 4950 S. Sheridan in Tulsa.
TO REGISTER FOR CAMPS: Send an email to Mike Ponio, JYB Camp Director, at boomersooner1023@yahoo.com or call/text him at 918-770-3659 with any questions. Respond with name and age of player and specific camps numbers you wish to attend.
Payment is due at the time of registration or when your player is confirmed and can be made via Venmo (@Mike-Ponio) to secure your spot. Or you can pay cash at check-in.
*Camp fees are non-refundable.
A few days prior to each camp, an email reminder will be sent to communicate what to wear and any other pertinent information.
Parents are ALWAYS welcome to stay and participate as well!
All camps for ages 5 and up!
Camp #1 - Throwing/Pitching: Monday March 16, 2026
10-12:30pm; 15-minute break during camp
Throwing portion for ages 8 and below; entire camp for all ages
Camp designed to teach and enhance the art of pitching for those of age to include PFP, pickoffs, etc. and those too young to pitch at this time; we will teach and develop the proper ways of throwing and catching.
Cost: $50
Camp #2 - Hitting: Monday March 16, 2026
1-3:30pm; 15-minute break during camp
Camp designed to teach batting stance, drills, live BP.
Cost: $50
Camp #3 - All Skills: Tuesday March 17, 2026
10-2pm; 30-minute lunch break 12:15-12:45
Camp designed to teach all aspects of the game other than hitting and pitching, throwing. Examples are sliding, base-running, fielding, catching fly balls, etc.
We will have a fun organized wiffle-ball game during this camp after lunch and will run to the conclusion of camp. We have done this for many years and all players love finishing up the camps with a fun game!!
Cost: $75

These also are great camps to get ready for the 2026 spring season.
Mike Ponio, JYB Camp Director, will spearhead all camps. Mike played collegiate baseball at The University of Hawaii and OU. Mike has run his own baseball club, conducted private baseball lessons, and directed many camps for more than 30 years. His love for the game and desire to teach kids proper mechanics and how to have fun is evident and contagious!
